More Than a Decade of Service in Personal Injury Cases

If you discover errors contained in the settlement and release agreement you receive from the insurance company after negotiating a settlement for your personal injury claim, you may send a letter requesting corrections be made. The settlement and release agreement should accurately and completely reflect the agreement that was reached between you and the at-fault party’s insurance company.

Contact Wallace Pierce Law to have our Durham attorneys request corrections to your agreement at (919) 887-7892, or contact us online. Our team has years of experience successfully settling personal injury claims.

  • Dear Mr./Ms. [ADJUSTER’S NAME]:

I am in receipt of the settlement and release agreement pursuant to the conversation held on [INSERT DATE] where we settled the claim referenced above. I’ve taken an opportunity to review the settlement and agreement, and upon my review I’ve discovered the following errors:

The insurance adjuster should agree to amend the settlement and release agreement to properly reflect the terms and facts of your settled claim. If you have issues getting the adjuster to correct the errors, we recommend speaking to our experienced Durham attorneys, who may be able to provide advice on dealing with the insurance company.
